About Katy G. Pletter, CPA

After gaining experience with both local and “Big Four” accounting firms, Katy established her own practice in the early part of 2005. She boasts a wide knowledge base having worked with closely-held businesses, individuals, estates, and trusts addressing both tax and accounting issues in a CPA firm setting since 1999.

Following her passion for tax law and its application, she completed her Master of Science in Taxation at Golden Gate University in 2006.

Most recently, Katy has focused her energies on tax planning, consulting, and return preparation for high net worth individuals, executives, business owners, and their related businesses. Katy has a strong commitment to client service and looks forward to becoming your most trusted business and financial advisor.

Why Katy?

A responsive, trustworthy, approachable CPA

Katy understands that finding a CPA who is a good fit for you, your business, or both can be no easy task. Her practice is exclusively referral-based and most potential clients come to her seeking a responsive, trustworthy, approachable CPA, all qualities Katy whole-heartedly embodies.

Her patience, clear communication style, and attention to detail are some of her greatest strengths, making navigating the tax code appear simple. She delivers thoughtful attention to each of her clients and imposes high standards of quality and professionalism with all projects and client requests.

Katy’s greatest value can be added through proactive planning. She relies on her clients to communicate their goals and any upcoming financial decisions which could significantly impact their tax scenario. While tax implications may not be the ultimate driver of any decision made, tax roadblocks and pitfalls should often be considered as part of the decision-making process.
